Brewery Filtration Process
Brewery filter is a very important production process of beer, it is related to the appearance and taste of beer, biological stability, non-biological stability and so on. Make it within the warranty period will not appear changes in appearance. In mature beer after fermentation, a small amount of coagulum such as yeast and protein would be suspended in the liquor, which may cause the beer to become turbid during storage, so it must be removed through a beer filtration process.

1. Process water filtration
The pp pleated cartridge filter or Filter bag is used to filter the process water, which can remove particulate impurities and avoid deterioration of water quality caused by seasonal changes or abnormal water pipelines, which affects the normal operation of production.
2. Deoxygenated water filtration
In recent years, low-alcohol refreshing beer has been favored by consumers, and beer dilution technology has been rapidly promoted. The dilution water should have the same quality characteristics as beer. Most breweries use post-filtration dilution technology (the production process of post-filtration dilution: post-mature liquor-beer filtration-liquor mixing-into the sake tank), high-concentration liquor for dilution The mixer is installed after the fine filtration equipment. Since the beer will not be filtered after adding the dilution water, the quality requirements for the dilution water are very high. The dilution water prepared by the above-mentioned filtration process has a clear and transparent appearance, no suspended matter and sediment, and is directly added to the wine, which is safe and reliable.
3. Filter before beer hardcover
In the actual production of domestic breweries, it is sometimes found that the diatomaceous earth filter has a sudden leakage of soil, which causes the beer fine filter to be suddenly blocked. In order to prevent this phenomenon and ensure the economy of production, it is recommended to install an economical and effective pp pleated cartridge filter in front of the beer sanitary filter housing. The depth cartridge filter can effectively remove larger particles and some viscous impurities. When a sudden soil leakage event occurs in the diatomite filter, it acts as an alarm. This will block the cheaper pp pleated cartridge filter, but it protects the relatively more expensive filter.
4. Filter beer before canning
Experienced technicians know that even if the sake in the sake tank passes the inspection, sometimes after being transported to the packaging workshop for filling, the beer in the bottle will still show black slag or other suspended matter. This phenomenon can be reduced by installing a set of pes filter cartridges with a pore size of 0.65~1 micron in front of the filling machine, like Pall EBV, Millipore Milligard or Origin Pure SteriFlux PES etc.
5. Beer recycling and filtration
Due to various reasons, half bottle of wine or leaking wine will appear after beer filling. The corresponding countermeasures vary from case to case. Open bottle recycling is an economical and feasible method. A pp cartridge filter is installed after the pouring tank, which can retain impurities, bottle caps, and broken glass, effectively ensuring the deep filtration of the filter element behind.
